Wow – to me thats really powerful! I don’t want cardiovascular disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease, as well as the risk of death due to cardiovascular disease or cancer or premature death. And I truly believe in the old saying “You are what you eat”
So how come I can’t get my Father In-Law to eat better? Stop eating packaged food or processed food, or food substitutes like: Becel Margarin or Equal? Now I know that Butter and Sugar are not good for you! Both have proven negative affects to weight and cardiovasular desease but I counter with the question of what does say “Dextrose with Maltodetrin, and aspartame the ingredients in Equal do to your Liver or how are the processed in your body? Take a look at the ingredients in the “good for your heart Becel” below vs old fashion butter

It seems to me that eating a diet- like the Mediterranean diet and avoiding processed foods with ingredients you can’t pronounce or don’t know what they are is both simple and logical.
So my question is how come I can’t communicate this message to my In-Laws? Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas for me?
